Not A Boy Named Matt

Meghan Attreed
Meghan Attreed works in communications at Antenna Software. I consider myself a real mobile maven with a love of all things technology – even data center cooling – and am often confused for a boy named Matt (oh you’ll have to ask if you want to know J). The world of tech and mobile is a crazy one, and it’s my goal to bring my quirky and unique perspective to Mobile Masters. A New Englander by upbringing who has worked in the tech field for just under a decade I’ll be covering a broad range of topics, melding my experience working on an apple orchard with how technology influences the way we work, play, live and love. Well, at least how I love tech. I’ll share what amazes me, befuddles me, excites me and what moves the mobile market. Follow me on Twitter @notaboynamedmat.
Mobile Dog

Edward Dekema
Ed is a Mobile Program Manager for a large Financial Services company. I've spent over 20 years living in Seattle, drinking coffee, working on large software projects, and releasing music on my very low profile record label. From Windows 2000 to a 1993 grunge CD featuring Nirvana's former record producer and drummer, I'll tackle any kind of project. You can even find my name buried in the book, Loser - the History of the Seattle Music Scene. I don't think there is anything left for me to do except blog about mobile.

Mobile Futures Today

Brian Philbin
Brian Philbin is a Senior Sales Engineer at Antenna Software. Before I got into the software game 10 years ago, I spent 20 years in field service - field service technician/manager, quality assurance manager, business process consultant, and electronic surveillance and intercept specialist. (That last part is none of your business, so don’t even ask.) I've been in customer-facing roles in some extremely challenging environments across several continents for years. Unfortunately for you, I also have a background as a business process geek and have helped many friends, coworkers and customers see the light when it comes to looking at your current and future processes with a critical eye. A mobile eye. I hope you enjoy my blog. Let me hear from you if you do. If you don’t, well, speaking as a typical field service dude—that’s O.K. too.
Mobile Observatory

Tony Rizzo
Tony Rizzo has been involved in high-tech since 1978, and was a pioneer student-user of e-mail in the early 1980s at NYU's Courant Institute, when the Internet was still known as Arpanet. He's had, and continues to have, numerous mobile lives. Tony feels very fortunate to always be slightly ahead of the tech curve, whether as an educator, an editor-in-chief or a pioneer mobility analyst.
Gadgetocracy

Peter Semmelhack
I am the founder of Bug Labs, so you could say this whole Bug Labs open software mobile thing is all my fault. Check it out at buglabs.net. I started Bug Labs after a roughly 20-year career in software because I desperately wanted the product we are now building. This is my third start-up, the last one being Antenna Software, a mobile enterprise software vendor, which started life 12 years ago as Antenna Tool & Die. (Don't ask me why.) I live in Manhattan and spend my spare time with my wife and two children, sailing to remote destinations whenever possible. Follow me on Twitter @psemme

Intermittent Signal

Mark Watson
I'm the EVP of Technology & Engineering at Antenna, which means that I run the software planning, development and support organisation for Antenna's product portfolio. Before that, I founded and served as CEO of Volantis Systems, a UK-based company acquired by Antenna in January 2011. And before that I was at IBM. For a very long time, and what seems a very long time ago. And before that I studied Politics at the University of Nottingham, England, where as a result of some administrative error I was awarded an honours degree. I live in Hampshire, England with my wife and two daughters. Outside work I have an interest in history, and am also cursed with having to follow the fortunes (mostly ill-favoured) of Leeds United football club. Follow me on Twitter @Markwatson
The Mobile Beat

Terri White
Terri is a founding member of Mobile Masters. People do the darndest things and as The Mobile Beat, it’s my job to tell you about them. Or make them up. I’m a nice girl from the Midwest who is fascinated by stories of people doing offbeat things, or offbeat technology being used in wonderful ways. I also like rock and roll, marketing in a modern world, NY Times crossword puzzles, all things British, and of course, cool mobile technology. Think of me as the love child of David Lynch and Mary Tyler Moore who is raised by her English nanny, a dead-ringer for Avenger Emma Peel. I am always on the lookout for stories – make my day - send them to me please! Follow me on Twitter @teresewhite
